The little sweetheart pictured above is having a "Meltdown-Monday". We have grown accustomed to these lately. Sleep deprivation, teething and seperation anxiety always makes coming down from a "weekend-high" pretty difficult.
We had a great time at the beach.... well, the pool I should say. Anna wasn't loving the beach so much!
Once we got over to the beach (we were staying on the bay) Anna was past due for a nap. I personally think she would have loved it had she not been so tired.
She didn't last long. I think our total "beach-time" was around 20 minutes. After heading back to the Bay for a nap and some lunch, we hit the pool. This was a total success. She LOVED the pool!
We spent the better half of the afternoon in the pool... hence the "water wrinkles":
A happy baby makes for a happy mommy... which is why a swimming pool is now on my wish list!
The whole weekend was great and Anna was great the whole weekend!
On the way home we stopped in at Uncle Lukes for some homemade fried chicken, mac and cheese, and fresh tomatoes topped with bleu cheese crumbles! The whole meal is on my "soon-to-be-made" menu! That isn't WHY we stopped by of course... just an added bonus.
We stopped to visit Uncle Luke and let him get some sugar from his GREAT-niece!
Anna loved GG too! Although, I'm pretty sure GG was ready to see Anna hit the roads... (the picture should explain)-
Just to clear up any confusion- Anna wasn't giving GG a bone. And once Anna took it... she wasn't giving it back either!

Hey Molly, this is Quinton! I check your blog all the time and just LOVE it! Little Anna is soooo adorable and I love getting to see all the pictures and videos you post! You NEED to enlarge that 1st pic of Anna sitting in her dress! It is adorable! It would be beautiful as a 20x24 hanging on your wall! (thats the photography coming out in me) =) If you don't want to hang it on yours I will hang it on mine! I love it!
