Weekend Recap!

Girls weekend was SO MUCH FUN!! (Although we totally missed Mom and Cathy!)
Anna loved her first Party-Week-Weekend! She LOVED having Sarah and Megan (a.k.a.. Bob and Yum-Yum)here to play and "talk" to!







I think it's safe to say we all had a BLAST!
It started Thursday around 6 when Sarah and Megan arrived. Anna picked them a flower for their arrival but since it came out of the ground roots and all we left it outside and I let her color them a picture instead!



Friday we started the morning off right with Shipley's donuts... SO GOOD! Then we headed to the square for some serious shopping!! We all decided to buy some "party-weekend-pj's" and much more. Anna was sacked out for the duration of the shopping... but that actually worked out for our benefit!



Then for lunch we went to a great little New Orleans style restaurant for some good food, good laughs, and good fun. Anna sat like this for a lot of the meal.. which we thought was hilarious!



After lunch we headed home to put on our new pj's and watch a movie while Anna napped... and turned out we all took a little nap!

Friday night we went to a local little catfish place.



It's a really cute, fun little place where you have to bring your own wine..ha! The food was good and Anna LOVED dancing to the live music!



Friday night we planned to come home get back in our pj's and watch another movie.. BUT, we ended up getting in our pajamas and talking until 11 instead .. much more fun I thought!

We decided to put the camera on self-time and take a picture of all of us in our Party-Girl-Pajamas!



I personally think scrolling back through the "photo-shoot" was absolutely hysterical... so, I just have to show you a short preview.

Okay.. so it started with this one.. which I think is the funniest of them all. They were NOT trying to look like this either...



They'll kill me.. haha!

But from there it went like this:



I think after all the laughing and goofy shots and Sarah STILL being goofy we managed to get one good picture. =)

At eleven we decided to call it a night!

Saturday was another fun day!! We took a "four-wheeled-adventure" to a small little town an hour and a half away in search of some fabulous McCarty Pottery!! Great times!!




When we got there we ate lunch at the Gallery Restaurant first. Anna loved getting to sit in a big-girl chair (for a little while at least):



While she was sitting there Sarah and Megan both pulled out their blackberry phones to take a picture of her and we swear she said, "oooooooooooh I-PHONE!!" It was so funny. "Yum-Yum" said, "you can't say our names but you know what an iphone is?" and Anna just nodded yes..
I realize you probably had to be there but I'm telling you it was really funny!

After lunch we headed over to the Studio...





Where we all got some really great things (and possibly a small hole in our pockets). I hate, hate, hate that I didn't get any pictures of the actual pottery place but by this time Anna was exhausted and clingy! I'm sure I'll be back even though Sarah and Megan's shopping motto was "when will I ever be back here?.. just buy it!"
It was a fun-filled adventure although we ALL felt like Anna by the time we got home!
She was out before I even got car going I think!



When we got back to the house we once again put on our new pajamas and watched a movie. That night we decided to stay in, order pizza, and watch another movie!

Sunday Sarah and Megan had to hit the road by one so we went to a little sandwhich place for lunch and then to the square one last time for some YaYa's Frozen Yogurt!



Okay, so I think Anna was really tired (...and not quite feeling up to par...) She never doesn't smile for the camera! But.. I know she enjoyed herself the whole time and hated to say goodbye!

Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOO much for a fabulous weekend! Anna and I both had a BLAST!! Clearly it wasn't the same as Chicago but I think it was just what the doctor ordered for all of us!!! ThankYou! ThankYou! ThankYou for coming! Love you!!


Today-

Well, we are back to cleaning.. but I've got a GOOD helper so it's been fun!
