Happy Weekend!

This weekend was a true "Party Weekend".. starting off with a Birthday celebration for DaddyBen! Anna LOVED it. We ALL loved it!! Houston and Nate grilled chicken (that was super delicious) and Mom made all the sides to go with it: greens, corn, tomatoes with basil mayo, and bread. It was all so good. Anna couldn't get enough of the chicken.. until she saw the birthday cake!!

It WAS a Happy Day!

Then Saturday we had a lazy afternoon and a spectacular evening!
A dear old friend of mine, Mallory got married this weekend. It was a beautiful wedding and a fabulous reception!

Congratulations Mallory and Bo!!



The Wedding all by itself was amazing (I only wish I had pictures to show everyone!)

My "child-free" evening with Casey was a well-needed little break from motherhood.

The wedding dress was beautifully made!



She had her mom's dress re-made into her own. I think that is so neat and special. It looked fabulous... MALLORY made it look fabulous I should say!!

The cakes were BOTH delissimo!!





Both cakes were so good and pretty (Okay.. Bo- your cake was studly) =)


I LOVED all the food (and not just because I'm pregno either)... the mashed potato bar..Ummm... YUM! Definitely an awesome little treat! I could have eated just potatoes all night... sweet and regular! I mean Peanut LOVES it some mashed potatoes!! All the dips.. loved them all. Especially the hot bacon and swiss dip (which I may now have the recipe for). AND.. we cannot forget the tenderloin! So good!

The band was so fun and the dancing was too.



The whole night was wonderful... and Mallory was beautiful and happy and beautifully happy!!
We had a blast!!

Mallory and Bo- Congratulations.. it was a wonderful night and I was proud to be a part of it!!



As for today- we're just getting back into the groove of things



And Anna is hoping to get this in the water today



She's such a mess!!
