Two years ago atop Lookout Mountain at Camp Desoto in Mentone, Alabama Casey and I were living life and loving life. And then and there we started our new life together in the POURING rain!
I'll never forget waiting in the little wooden cabin labeled "business office".
The phone rang. I answered:
It was phil (the camp director), "Don't worry Molly, I'm looking at the weather right now and this storm is going to clear up and be outta here before we know it!!"
I wasn't worried! I love storms! The weather did clear up...
...but only for just a few minutes...
As soon as "my" music started and my father and I started down the aisle the thunder came, the lightning struck, and the rain POURED! I'm convinced that there was not one soul that heard a word spoken besides me, Casey and our sweet Heavenly Father!
As the choir sang "Oh Happy Day", Casey and I turned to the crowd and started back down the aisle. The storm came to an end, the sun came out, and a rainbow appeared! It was indeed a HAPPY DAY!!
And here we are two years later still loving life more each day!!
