"and there was Anna..."

A friend of my mother's was doing her daily devotional (from Streams in the Desert) on Tuesday December 16 and this is the scripture she read:

"And there was Anna, a prophetess... which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day (Luke 2:36-37)"

I just love that...
"and there was Anna"

I think it is so neat that that particular passage was written for Dec. 16 and that was the day Anna was born... pretty neat!!
