Fall Days Here...

We're happy and good and so glad it's Fall over here!!

We've had a LOT going on.. but, it's been tons of fun!
And don't you just LOVE Anna's "Owl-o-ween" tee. I think it's adorable!



Days have been MAINLY happy around here..



but we have had a FEW meltdowns too... and yes, I should probably quit taking pictures of these but they are pretty funny.

Nate and Courtney came this week for a short visit.



It was too short! We had a blast though...

For some reason I think if I post a cute picture of a sweet sleeping baby you'll all forgive me for not posting in such a long time!

Things have been a wee-bit crazy around here (duh.. right?) I'm sorry to say that I've barely picked up my camera in two weeks. My mom was here this weekend (thank you! thank you! thank you! We loved it!!!) and I did not take one picture of her with either of the girls. I didn't take one picture of her period.

BUT.. like I said.. the picture of a cute sleeping sweet baby girl should get me off the hook.. right?? I hope so.
Just incase it doesn't.. I'll try to take lots of photos tomorrow and write a much more interesting post!!

Here Lately...

Anna, Caroline and I just got back from the doctor's office. Caroline's 2 week appointment.. I can hardly believe it either!! Anna got her flu shot and was a stellar patient for sure! ...and I now know for a fact that I can go out into the real world by myself with a new born baby and a 2 year old and hold up just fine!!

Caroline is doing great. Growing like a weed (despite the upteen million dirty diapers we change every day). She wasn't too thrilled with the check up but Anna was totally loving it. She loved watching the doctor check on Caroline and even asked that he look in her ears too!!

I have tons I want to share but not much time to do it.. so here are some photos:

Casey found the sand turtle on the side of the road and Anna loves playing with the rocks. Strolling "Big Dog" has been a huge part of our world these days too!









Casey and Anna went to a family reunion for his mom's family. Anna was so excited to wear her overalls to the farm. She loved the hay ride too! I was thankful Casey took some pictures since I couldn't be there!















Memaw, Christy, and Joyce came to meet little Caroline last week.

Catherine came over last week and took some pictures of Caroline. They turned out super cute!!











Thanks Catherine.. they turned out so cute. I used the top one for birth announcements!!

Okay.. so that is pretty much our life these days.. full of feedings, naps, playing in rocks, strolling "big dog" and just loving life!!

I hope to be back before too long.. but please forgive me if I'm not... things sure are crazy these days!!

Coming Alive!

Caroline is spending more time awake today.. (THANK GOODNESS)



Last night she didn't want to sleep very much...

She is enjoying the playmat this afternoon!





But, it doesn't take too long before the music puts her right to sleep.



Notice the sweet little "bunny- paci holder".. also known as (to Anna) "baby's hop-hop". My Aunt brought the "hop-hop", a sweet little day gown and the little blanket she's so cozy in yesterday and they've already made Caroline's top favorite things list!!



Anna has had a big day today. She's been playing outside with Mimi...jumping in the leaves and helping in the flower beds.







...and coming inside (yes, she can open the door by herself now!) every ten minutes or so to check on "Baby" and occasionally wash up for a little hug and kiss!







It made Anna"s whole day when Caroline held her hand!



She gave her a great big hug...



aaaaahhhh.. these two girls melt us into puddles!
